DEPARTMENTAL OVERVIEW

One of Ayurveda's most significant branches is Bala Roga (Kaumarbhritya). Scholars pursuing undergraduate (UG), graduate (MD), and doctoral degrees (PhD) are taught and trained by this department.
Nutrition and feeding of infants, adolescent health, and neonatal care are all included in this branch. Additionally, it addresses both acute and chronic illnesses, as well as conditions linked to developmental impairments such as cerebral palsy, neuro-behavioral disorders like ADHD, ASD, and autism, and musculoskeletal ailments like DMD, where Ayurvedic therapy assist patients significantly improve.
Hospital amenities for patients in Bala Roga (Kaumarbhritya) include an OPD, an IPD with a play area, a Bal-Panchakarma Unit, a Swarnaprashana & Vaccination Unit, and a Child Mental Health Unit.

Currently working with ease in the department are one professor, two associate professors, two assistant professors with committed & competent technical and non-technical personnel (Food & Nutrition assistant-1, MTS-3, Bal Panchakarma massager-2, Panchakarma attendant-1).
